Description

The iconic domed shape of this bombé ring is intricately detailed with three rows of tapering stripes set with twenty two round brilliant diamonds (2.07ct) in grain and rubover settings, alternating with four fluted polished sections, leading to broad tapering shoulders. Handcrafted in 18ct rose gold and platinum, a true statement style that is incredibly elegant and tactile when worn on the finger. Featuring a French import mark. Circa 1938. The bombé design became popular in France during the 1920s, and continues to be regularly seen in the collections of the famous houses of the Place Vendôme today. The domed shape provided an iconic canvas that was continually reinterpreted with different gemstones and patterns. Finger size Q.
