Description
An important 1.01ct fancy blue oval cut diamond is paired with a sparkling colourless and internally flawless 0.79ct pear cut stone in this stunning dress ring. Designed by a member of the Pragnell family these two exceptional diamonds have been securely claw set, and catch the eye as the centrepiece of a classic bypass design. Inspired by our extensive collection of antique jewellery, the bypass design was incredibly popular during the mid-20th-century. Featuring in the collections of the most famous residents of the Place Vendome this design can still be found today, and is adored by the Houses of Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels. As a sixth generation family jeweller Pragnell are experts at sourcing the rarest and most sought after gemstones in the world. Fancy coloured diamonds have been sought after by connoisseurs and collectors for hundreds of years with their ethereal adamantine lustre captivating all who gaze upon it.
