Description
A classic 18ct yellow gold sapphire and diamond five stone ring that has been inspired by the Victorian period. Two sea blue old cut sapphires and three diamonds have been securely claw set, and glimmer as they spread elegantly across the finger. Five stone rings are said to represent the five qualities of a good relationship: love, commitment, trust, communication and empathy. They became increasingly popular in the Victorian period when it became fashionable to wear multiple rings on each hand. This was influenced by Queen Victoria and her royal relatives, who dictated styles and tastes to the Empire at large. The richly polished open work yellow gold mount displays rich scrollwork patterns, which enable the maximum amount of light to enter and exit the stones. Eight smaller old cut diamonds have been expertly set in between the larger stones, and perfectly complete this classic design. Showcasing the birthstones for the months of April and September this beautiful ring is perfect to wear and enjoy from day to night.
