Skimming Stone 3.55ct Namibian Lagoon Tourmaline and Diamond Pendant in 18ct Yellow Gold

Perfectly complemented by a contemporary bold 18ct yellow gold surround an alluring pear cut lagoon tourmaline (3.55ct) has been expertly claw set at an angle, commanding attention as the striking centrepiece of this stunning pendant. Small sparkling brilliants (0.19ct) have been set under the polished bezel to attract the eye when worn. The latest addition to our Skimming Stone collection this piece was designed by a member of the Pragnell family to convey a bold allure when gracing the neck. A smaller pear cut diamond (0.42ct) has been sculpturally claw set below the principal stone to sparkle delicately when worn in the sunshine. This diamond is accompanied by certification from the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) confirming sought after G colour and VS2 clarity grades. The tourmaline set into this pendant originated from the Erongo region of Namibia, which produces exceptional examples with ‘lagoon’ and ‘mint’ tones. Most of the miners work in small independent groups sharing the profits equally from this important gemstone that symbolises prosperity and hope.
