Patek Philippe Grand Complications 6301P-001 Watch

The Grand Complications collection from Patek Philippe showcases the superb artistry and skill of the true masters of horological complications. Since 1839, Patek Philippe have focused on showcasing the most complicated wristwatches, which embody an individual and distinguished elegance. First seen in November 2020, the 6301P-001 is a truly exceptional timepiece that embodies Patek Philippe's mastery of the music of time. A gleaming 44.8mm platinum case has a strong presence on the wrist, with a midnight black Grand Feu enamel dial that displays easy-to-read, polished white gold Breguet numerals. Music is key to the uniqueness of the 6301P-001, with a rare and complicated grande sonnerie function which automatically indicates the hours and quarter-hours throughout the day. A petite sonnerie function is also available, which allows the number of daily strikes to be reduced. Both the grande and petite sonnerie strike works can be easily quietened by selecting the silence mode on the outer case. A minute repeater function that strikes the hours, quarter-hours and minutes on three classic gongs can also be activated by pressing a pusher in the winding crown. The dial features a seconds sub dial at 6:00, along with two useful power reserve indicators, which highlight the power remaining for both the movement and sonnerie functions. Housing the new manual winding movement (calibre GS 36-750 PS IRM), this model features a maximum 72-hour power reserve.
Available on an application only basis, the audible chimes of each individual 6301P-001 are listened to by the company president, Mr Thierry Stern, before leaving the manufacture in Geneva to ensure they sound exactly right.
