Patek Philippe Complications Annual Calendar 5235/50R-001

A first for Patek Philippe, a wristwatch with a 'regulator' dial layout. Unusual in more ways than one, the company name is engraved on the dial rather than printed. The watch is quite large at 40.5mm but at the same time not overly bulky thanks to the 31-260 REG movement only being 5.08mm deep. On top of the layout complication Patek also chose to add an annual calendar to the watch, the important information being housed in apertures at the top of the dial (apart from the date which is within the seconds sub dial) to keep the view as unimpaired as possible. The annual calendar only needs adjusting once each year, on the 1st March.
