Octagon Cut 0.97ct Colombian Emerald and Diamond Three Stone Ring in 18ct Yellow Gold
Octagon Cut, Claw Set
Description
A classic emerald and diamond three-stone ring that features a vibrant 0.97ct Colombian octagonal cut emerald. Nestled beneath the verdant rainforests that cover the country, the Colombian mines are famous for producing stones that have an intense pure green colour. Secured by four hand shaped yellow gold corner claws, this modern ring has been designed in homage to the Art Deco period. The recognisable geometric forms that are so well-known from jewellery produced in this era are visible in both the central stone and side diamonds (0.81ct) that have been set into the top sections of each shoulder. This classic design enhances the beauty of the legendary Colombian emerald, known to be pure green in colour with glowing qualities. This stone has been certified by the Gem Research Swisslab to confirm that it has been subjected to insignificant oil treatment to enhance its colour and clarity. Both diamonds are also accompanied by certification from the GIA (Gemmological Institute of America) confirming sought after F colour and VS1-VS2 clarity grades.
