Description

An individual and striking pair of 18ct rose gold, natural pearl and brilliant cut diamond drop earrings from our Legacy Collection. These beautiful earrings showcase fashionable and contemporary style that has been influenced by our extensive collection of antique jewellery. These have been designed by a member of the Pragnell family using hand selected gemstones, which offer something truly special and unique. Richly polished rose gold settings perfectly complement the lustrous natural pearl drops that possess a rich and encapsulating lustre. Natural pearls are an incredibly rare and sought after gemstone, with most being plucked from the depths of the dangerous Persian Gulf by only the bravest of divers. In the 19th-century the largest and most lustrous examples were worth far more than diamonds. The antique style of these earrings can be seen in the expertly articulated sections, which have been grain set with 0.99ct of sparkling brilliant cut diamonds. These have been given a blackened antique finish, which contrasts superbly with the warm rose gold and lustrous creamy pearls. Practical lock and hinge fittings ensure that these earrings can be worn effortlessly, and continue the bold contemporary look.
Perfect to be worn with existing pieces of antique jewellery in your collection, or mixed with new pieces these are sure to become treasured and adored.
