Oval Cut, Claw Set
Description
Perfectly complemented by a contemporary bold gold surround an important 5.36ct Type IIA oval cut diamond commands attention as the centrepiece of this stunning skimming stone ring. Certified by the GIA as G colour and VVS2 clarity this superb diamond is further classified as Type IIA. The most sought after of the five types of diamonds this classification means this striking oval cut has an attractive limpid appearance due to it being chemically pure and optically transparent. Designed by a member of the Pragnell family the soft curved lines of the central diamond have been expertly complemented by a richly polished buttery 18ct yellow gold mount. Small sparkling brilliants (0.26ct) have been expertly set around the sides of the central diamond, excitingly catching the eye of the wearer when worn in the sunshine. Tactile and bold this design was created to showcase special oval cut diamonds and gemstones. As a sixth-generation family jeweller the Pragnell family often gain inspiration from Stratford Upon Avon and its beautiful surroundings. In this instance childhood memories skimming stones on the Avon were evoked, providing the perfect inspiration for this refreshing contemporary style. All Pragnell Masterpiece creations are unique expressions of our rich history of being part of the most special moments in our clients' lives.
