Masterpiece Pragnell Setting 8.58ct Muzo Emerald and Diamond Ring in 18ct Yellow Gold
Octagon Cut, Claw Set
Description
A showpiece emerald ring that features an impressive 8.58ct Colombian Muzo octagonal step cut emerald. Nestled beneath the verdant rainforests that cover the country, the Colombian mines are famous for producing stones that have an intense pure green colour. Secured by four expertly hand shaped yellow gold talon claws, the verdant green tones of the central emerald are sure to captivate all who gaze upon them. Graduated shoulders discreetly draw the eye towards the centre stone, which have been expertly set with twelve French cut diamonds (1.57cts). This distinctive design enhances the beauty of the legendary Colombian emerald, known to be pure green in colour with glowing qualities. This stone has been certified by the renowned Gubelin laboratory to confirm a Colombian origin, and that it has only been subjected to minor treatment to enhance its colour and clarity. As a sixth-generation family jeweller Pragnell are experts at sourcing the rarest and most sought-after gemstones in the world.
