Masterpiece 14.07cts Muzo Emerald and Diamond Art Deco Inspired Drop Earrings in Platinum
Octagon, Half-Moon, Baguette & Asscher Cut, Claw Set
Description
A showpiece pair of elegant octagonal cut Colombian Muzo emerald Art Deco inspired drop earrings. Showcased as the statement drop sections of these beautiful earrings each emerald (14.07cts total) has been securely set into platinum surrounded by a border of slim baguette cut diamonds. Three distinct diamond cut styles (half-moon, baguette and Asscher) form the top sections of each earring displaying pure Art Deco style. Looking at these earrings we are reminded of the arrangement of diamonds seen in the King George VI chandelier earrings, which were presented to Princess Elizabeth as a wedding gift from her parents in 1947. Nestled beneath the verdant rainforests that cover the country, the Colombian mines are famous for producing stones that have an intense pure green colour. As a sixth-generation family jeweller, Pragnell are experts at sourcing the rarest and most sought-after gemstones in the world. Both the emeralds set into these earrings are accompanied by certification from both the Gem Research Swiss lab (GRS) and the American Gemmological Laboratories (AGL) to confirm that they have only been subjected to insignificant oil clarity enhancement. Perfect to wear with short or long hairstyles these are certain to become treasured family heirlooms.
