Jadeite and Diamond Pendant 12.44ct in 18ct White Gold
Cabochon Jadeite Pendant, with Diamond Surround
Description
An 18ct white gold, jadeite and diamond pendant of contemporary origin. A verdant green, polished, certified 11.13ct jadeite oval has been surrounded by a halo of brilliant cut diamonds (1.31ct). A round shaped bail has been expertly set with small brilliants, and connects the pendant to a stunning black silk cord. Jadeite is a gemstone that has been revered and adored in the Chinese culture for thousands of years, and is known to attract good luck and friendship. This enticing green gemstone became hugely popular during the Art Deco period, and was often combined with sparkling diamonds. The popularity of jadeite has soared in the past few years, with examples seen on the red carpet and featuring in the collections of both the Duchess of Cambridge and the Countess of Wessex.
A large lobster clasp enables the comfortable and flexible silk cord to be taken on and off with complete ease. This stunning pendant would make a fantastic addition to a jewellery collection, and is perfect to wear and enjoy during the glorious summer months.
