Emerald Cut 6.42ct Lukusuzi Aquamarine and Diamond Ring in Platinum

A 6.42ct emerald cut aquamarine forms the centrepiece of one of our latest creations. Secured by four lustrous platinum hand shaped claws, this impressive gemstone captivates with clear Aegean Sea blue tones. This gemstone originated from the Lukusuzi mine in Zambia; the primary source for aquamarines at Pragnell. The artisanal mine is owned and run by the local community. Pragnell are proud to showcase this breath-taking non-heated Lukusuzi aquamarine, which has been hand selected by the family for its superlative colour, clarity and size. A classic design inspired by the geometric forms and strong lines of the Art Deco period, two tapering baguette cut diamonds (0.69cts) define the top sections of each shoulder. As a sixth-generation family run business, the Pragnell family are delighted to support the co-operative run mine, which focuses on the welfare of the miners and the local community.
