Emerald Cut 2.48ct Zambian Emerald Three Stone Ring in 18ct Yellow Gold
Emerald Cut, Claw Set
Description
A classic Zambian emerald three-stone ring. Set into polished 18ct yellow gold a central octagonal step cut emerald (1.61ct) has been perfectly complemented by two smaller square cut examples (0.87ct). Zambian emeralds are highly regarded, displaying rich green colour tones. The country is an incredibly important source of fine emeralds, with mining steadily increasing since the 1970s. Secured by hand shaped yellow gold corner claws, this modern ring has been designed in homage to the Art Deco period. The recognisable geometric forms that are so well-known from jewellery produced in this era are visible in all three emeralds. The central emerald has been certified by the World Gemmological Institute to confirm that it has been subjected to minor treatment to enhance its colour and clarity. As a sixth-generation family jeweller, Pragnell are experts at sourcing the rarest and most sought-after gemstones in the world.
