Description
Gent's dome-shaped diamond ring set in platinum & mounted in 18ct yellow gold. This timeless classical design of ' bombé' or dome-shaped form, combines the smooth central platinum fluted head, pave-set with 18 mixed cut scintillating diamonds with dynamic, tapered & filleted sides in an 18ct yellow gold mount Circa 1960's -1970's. The name of Cartier instantly brings to mind the sparkle of diamonds, and the allure of the rich and famous. Since it was founded in Paris in 1847, the House has gone from strength to strength, being famously credited as “the jeweller of kings and the king of jewellers” by King Edward the VII. The house was as its peak when it was owned and run by the founding family, from 1847 to 1964.
