Description
A romantic 18ct white gold ring composed of the individual letters that make up the word “LOVE”. A contemporary piece that is the perfect summer jewel for the loved one in your life. Each letter has been rubover set with sparkling brilliant cut diamonds (0.40ct). The letter “V” features diamonds and one red ruby (0.01ct), which has been set into the apex. A classic combination, historically, diamonds symbolised love and prosperity, while rubies represented passion and devotion. The Victorians popularised pendants and charms featuring names and meaningful sayings, which has become increasingly popular over the past few years. Designs spelling “LOVE” were popularised by the designer Paloma Picasso who created the iconic graffiti collection for Tiffany & Co. This has also featured prominently in the Happy Diamonds collection of jewellery and watches that was launched by the House of Chopard in 1976.
