Contemporary Boucheron Palmettes Fan Collar in 18ct Rose Gold
Description
An 18ct warm rose gold Palmettes necklace from the Retro period (1940s) by the House of Boucheron. With platinum reserved for wartime use, jewellery from the Retro period was largely produced in warm yellow and rose gold. The French House of Boucheron was founded in 1858 and is still regarded as the ultimate destination for innovative jewellery creations. The house was owned and run by the founding family from 1858 to 1994. This eye-catching piece is composed of bold palm shaped links that have been expertly polished to dazzle when worn. Retro jewellery was inspired by the glamour of Hollywood; the bold and sculptural style making it highly collectable and coveted today.
