Burmese 1.71ct Ruby and Diamond Target Ring in 18ct Yellow Gold
Cushion Antiue Cut, Rubover Set
Description
This stunning target design ring features a luscious red cushion cut 1.71ct Burmese ruby that has been surrounded by two rings of grain set sparkling brilliants (0.40ct). These outer rings draw your eye towards the centre stone or target. Popular in the Art Deco period, the desire for target rings has increased significantly over the past few years. This striking example has been inspired by original Art Deco examples in our collection. Securely rub over set the Burmese ruby glows with rich red tones, and is accompanied by certification from The Pearl & Gem laboratory to confirm that it has not been subjected to any heat treatment to enhance its colour. Richly polished 18ct yellow gold has been used to perfectly complement the sought after central stone, and convey an appealing sense of warmth. As a sixth generation family jeweller Pragnell are experts at sourcing the rarest gemstones in the world.
