Belle Époque Heart Shaped 2.70ct Moonstone Pendant in 18ct White and Yellow Gold and Platinum

A romantic moonstone and diamond pendant from the Belle Époque period. Two enchanting heart shaped moonstones are surrounded by an open work bow and ribbon style motif, set with old cut diamonds. The opalescent moonstone hearts glow like moonlight, amongst the ornate diamond surround. Belle Époque was a stylistic movement which occurred during the Edwardian period. It was characterised by its use of garlands, scrolls and floral motifs, inspired by Rococo design. Originally made as a brooch, this beautiful piece has been expertly adapted in the Pragnell workshops as a wearable statement pendant. Attached to an intricate French antique chain (130cm), this beautiful piece is perfect for layering with existing chains and pendants in your collection.
