Art Deco Greek Pattern 9ct Gold Bangle in 9ct Yellow Gold
Description
A wearable and stylish 9ct yellow gold bangle from the Art Deco period. Bearing hallmarks for London (1926) this example features tactile angled edges. These have been engraved with the geometric Greek key pattern, which showcases the strong lines and geometric forms that were so well known from the period (1911-1940). The inside of the bangle has a slightly rounded, highly polished finish, which ensures it is supremely comfortable when worn. During this period fashions exposed the arms, which ensured bracelets became hugely popular. This example would originally have been worn to great effect on the upper forearm. Approaching one hundred years old this is the perfect jewel to wear and enjoy today during the summer months.
