Description
A striking Art Deco platinum, diamond and octagonal step cut Colombian Muzo emerald ring. Showcasing superb craftsmanship a verdant green 3.80ct emerald glows securely rub over set, and surrounded by an octagonal border that has been set with sparkling brilliant cut diamonds (0.61ct). The top sections of each shoulder expertly draw the eye towards the central emerald, set with small eight cut diamonds. Nestled beneath the verdant rainforests that cover the country, the Colombian mines are famous for producing stones that have an intense pure green colour. This example is accompanied by certification from the renowned SSEF (Swiss Gemmological Institute) laboratory to confirm it has only been subjected to low oil clarity modifications. A superb ring showcasing the strong forms and geometric shapes of the period. Perfect to wear as a showpiece jewel this ring combines the birthstones for the months of April and May.
