Description
An 18ct white gold, Burmese ruby and diamond rectangular plaque ring from the Art Deco period. A central cushion cut rich red ruby has been securely millegrain set as the striking centrepiece. The outer rectangular plaque features five rows of old European cut diamonds that catch the eye with their unmistakeable delicate sparkle. Burma, or Myanmar, is a country that is renowned for its deposits of extraordinary rubies and other fine gemstones.
