Description
Longines is a hugely popular watch brand that was founded in Switzerland in 1832. 189 years of watchmaking history has seen the name of Longines associated with famous personalities such as; Audrey Hepburn and Kate Winslet. The brand is also the official timekeeper for the French Open tennis championship, which is a hugely important fixture of the annual tennis calendar. Longines watches are assembled in Saint-Imier with workshop windows that look out onto the Swiss mountains. First seen in 1992 the La Grand Classique de Longines collection combines precision watchmaking with supreme elegance. With a 38mm case and bracelet crafted out of stainless steel the L.4.918.4.11.6 houses the automatic self-winding L591 calibre that has a power reserve of approximately 45 hours. A crisp white dial with classic Roman numerals ensures that this piece will make the perfect gift to mark a special occasion.
