Description
An energising mid-summer green 5.55ct octagonal step cut Colombian emerald has been secured by four hand shaped rich yellow gold claws. The strong geometry of this rare and important gemstone has been expertly accentuated by wide gleaming platinum shoulders that showcase arrangements of trapeze and bullet cut diamonds (1.00cts). Expertly rub over set the strong lines, and large table facets of these diamonds perfectly complement the central emerald. This exceptional ring has been inspired by our extensive collection of antique and period jewellery. In particular the strong forms and geometric lines of the Art Deco period can be seen in this breath-taking composition. Nestled beneath the verdant rainforests that cover the country, the Colombian mines are famous for producing stones that have an intense green colour. Hand selected by a member of the Pragnell family this important gemstone is accompanied by certification (SSEF) to confirm that it has only been subjected to minor treatment to enhance its colour and clarity. As a sixth-generation family jeweller Pragnell are experts at sourcing the rarest and most sought-after gemstones in the world. All Pragnell Masterpiece creations are unique expressions of our rich history of being part of the most special moments in our clients’ lives. Handcrafted in our workshops in the heart of England they showcase exceptional artistry, craftsmanship and gemstones.
