Description
An eye-catching 14ct white gold, diamond and emerald openwork cluster ring from the Edwardian period. A central rich green 0.52ct carré/step cut emerald is the centrepiece, secured in a rubover set and surrounded by nine sparkling brilliant cut diamonds (0.88ct). This beautiful ring exudes true statement style, and showcases the classic birthstone for the month of May. The Edwardian period only lasted for nine years (1901-1910), but it was an incredibly important era for jewellery design. Hugely intricate pieces showcasing the very best diamonds and gemstones were worn with elaborate fashions from the most famous French couture houses. Driven by the explosion of court life steered by the fashion conscious King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, this was a truly special time. This is a perfect ring to present to a loved one who can wear and enjoy it from day to night. Check Specifications for ring size details.
