Cartier Seven Row Trinity Bangle in 18ct Yellow, White and Rose Gold
Description
The name 'Cartier' instantly brings to mind the sparkle of diamonds and the allure of the rich and famous. Since it was founded in Paris in 1847, the House has gone from strength to strength, being famously credited as “the jeweller of kings and the king of jewellers” by King Edward VII. The House was at its pinnacle when it was owned and run by the founding family from 1847 to 1964. The Trinity design (as a ring) was first created in 1924, and is hugely popular today, celebrating its one-hundredth anniversary in 2024. Also known as the Russian wedding ring, the design consists of three interlinked rings that represent the past, present and future of a couple. This example showcases an exaggerated version of the design in a bangle form, with seven slim examples in 18ct yellow, white and rose gold. Each bangle has been expertly polished and will sit comfortably together when worn on the wrist. The fame and popularity of this design is still apparent today, with regular new interpretations being created by the House. The late Diana, Princess of Wales often wore a Trinity ring on her little finger, as does Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.
