Description
A classic platinum, old cut diamond and octagonal cut Colombian emerald ring from the Art Deco period. Showcasing a refined design that was popular during the earlier Edwardian age a verdant green 3.41ct emerald glows delicately rubover set, and surrounded by a scalloped corner halo that has been set with fourteen sparkling old cut diamonds. Nestled beneath the verdant rainforests that cover the country, the Colombian mines are famous for producing stones that have an intense pure green colour. This is example is accompanied by certification from the renowned SSEF (Swiss Gemmological Institute) laboratory to confirm it has been subjected to moderate clarity modifications. This beautiful emerald is the birthstone for the month of May, and comes to life surrounded by the inimitable sparkle of old cut diamonds.
