Lukusuzi 2.75ct Art Deco Inspired Aquamarine and Diamond Ring in Platinum
Emerald Cut, Claw Set
Description
A geometric emerald cut aquamarine (2.75ct) forms the centrepiece of this beautiful Art Deco inspired design. Secured by lustrous platinum claws this entrancing gemstone captivates with clear Aegean Sea blue tones. The strong forms and geometric lines of the period have been continued in the stepped shoulders set with complementary princess cut diamonds (0.46ct). The aquamarine set into this ring originated from the Lukusuzi mine in Zambia, the primary source for aquamarines at Pragnell. The artisanal mine is owned and run by the local community. Pragnell are proud to showcase this breath-taking non-heated Lukusuzi aquamarine, which has been hand selected by the family for its superlative colour, clarity and size. As a sixth-generation family run business the Pragnell family are delighted to support the cooperative run mine, which focuses on the welfare of the miners and the local community. Wearable from day to night this piece combines the birthstones for the months of March and April.
